Each encaustic piece is made by heating pigmented wax and applying the material to a rigid board, making for a smooth, matte finish on the piece’s surface. The swirling, flowing and bubbling not only creates a rich view from afar, it also allows for a wonderfully detailed viewing experience upon closer inspection.
